148   Cancellation or suspension not to affect existing liabilities

    148 Cancellation or suspension not to affect existing liabilities

  (1)  The cancellation of the entry in a register relating to a health
practitioner does not affect his or her liability for any act or default
occurring before the cancellation.

  (2)  The suspension of a registered health practitioner's registration does
not affect his or her liability for any act or default occurring before
the suspension.
