163 Reference to medical laboratory technologists, etc, in other enactments




    163 Reference to medical laboratory technologists, etc, in other enactments

  (1)  Every reference in any enactment to a medical laboratory technologist or
registered medical laboratory technologist must, unless a different intention
appears, be taken to be a reference to a person who is, or is deemed to be,
registered under this Act with the Medical Laboratory
Science Board and who is practising medical laboratory science in accordance
with his or her scope of practice.

  (2)  Every reference in any enactment to a medical radiation technologist or
registered medical radiation technologist must, unless a different intention
appears, be taken to be a reference to a person who is, or is deemed to be,
registered under this Act with the Medical Radiation Technologists Board and
who is practising medical radiation technology in accordance with his or her
scope of practice.

  (3)  Every reference in any enactment to a podiatrist or registered
podiatrist must, unless a different intention appears, be taken to be a
reference to a
person who is, or is deemed to be, registered under this Act with the
Podiatrists Board and who is practising podiatry in accordance with his or her
scope of practice.
