Savings for exemptions under Medical Auxiliaries Act 1966

    176 Continuation of exemptions under Medical Auxiliaries Act 1966

  (1)  In this section, exempted person means a person who, immediately before
the commencement of this section, was entitled to rely on an
exemption granted by or under regulations made under the Medical Auxiliaries
Act 1966.

  (2)  For the purposes of subsection (3), the exempted person may continue to
rely on the exemption until the expiry of the period (if any) for which it was
granted.

  (3)  For so long as the exempted person may under subsection (2) continue to
rely on the exemption, the person is not to be regarded as contravening a
provision of this Act merely because he or she performs an act in reliance on,
and in accordance with any conditions imposed by, the exemption.
