    183 Persons registered under Medical Practitioners Act 1995 deemed to be
registered under this Act
Every person who, immediately before the commencement of this section, was
registered as a medical practitioner under the Medical Practitioners Act 1995
(including a person who, immediately before that commencement, was so
registered by virtue of interim, probationary, or temporary registration under
that Act) is, on the commencement of this
section, deemed to be registered, under this Act, with the Medical Council of
New Zealand as a practitioner of the profession of medicine.
