    194 Persons holding certificates of temporary registration under Dental Act
1988

  (1)  This section applies to a person who, by this subpart, is deemed to be
registered with the new Dental Council because the person held a certificate of
temporary registration under the Dental Act 1988.

  (2)  Unless sooner extended or cancelled, the registration of such a person
under this subpart expires on the expiry of the period for which the
certificate of temporary registration had been granted.

  (3)  The provisions of section 35(2) and (5) of the Dental Act 1988 continue
to apply with all necessary modifications to the registration of such a person
under this subpart, and the new Dental Council may, in accordance with those
provisions as so modified, extend or cancel that registration.
