30   Currency of annual practising certificate




    30 Currency of annual practising certificate

  (1)  An annual practising certificate is in force for a period decided by the
authority (generally or in any particular case).

  (2)  The period must be stated in the certificate, and must be no longer than
1 year from the date the certificate is issued.

  (3)  Every health practitioner who has submitted an application, accompanied
by the fee (if any)
set by the authority, for a renewal of an annual practising certificate under
section 26(1) is to be treated as the holder of that
certificate from the date when the authority receives the application until the
date it is issued or he or she is sooner notified by the Registrar that it will
not be issued.
