72   Committees may regulate own procedure




    72 Committees may regulate own procedure

  (1)  A professional conduct committee may regulate its procedure as it thinks
fit.

  (2)  A professional conduct committee must adopt and follow procedures that
will ensure that, in relation to each matter referred to the committee, the
health practitioner who is the subject of the reference, the responsible
authority, and any complainant, are each kept informed about the progress of
the reference.

  (3)  Subsection (1) is subject to subsection (2) and the other provisions of
this Act, to the rules of natural justice, and to any regulations made under
this Act.
