75 Practitioners and complainants may request changes in membership of professional conduct committee




    75 Practitioners and complainants may request changes in membership of
professional conduct committee

  (1)  Within 5 working days after being informed of the membership or intended
membership of the
professional conduct committee that is to consider a matter about a health
practitioner, the practitioner or, in the case of a complaint, the complainant
may give the authority concerned notice---

      (a)  requesting that any or all of the members or intended members not be
appointed as, or not act as, members of that committee; and

      (b)  stating the reasons for the request.

  (2)  The authority---

      (a)  must have regard to the request; but

      (b)  need not comply with it.
