   41. Correction of register---(1) If any particulars appearing in the
 register in respect of any medical practitioner are proved to the
 satisfaction of the Council to be, or are to the knowledge of the
 Council, incorrect in any respect (whether or not they were correct at
 the time they were included in the register), the Council shall order
 the Registrar to amend the register accordingly.

   (2) Where any entry in the register relating to a medical practitioner
 is altered under this section, the Registrar shall forthwith give notice
 of the alteration to the practitioner.
