   77. Power to seek medical advice---(1) Where a person contemplates
 giving a notice under section 76 of this Act to the Registrar, he or she
 may seek whatever medical advice, whether psychiatric or otherwise, he
 or she considers appropriate to assist him or her in forming his or her
 opinion.

   (2) Any notice given under section 76 of this Act shall state any
 medical advice obtained under this section in respect of that notice.
