Complaints against Medical Practitioners 85   Notification of convictions
   85. Notification of convictions---Unless the court expressly orders
 otherwise in any particular case, the registrar of a court in New
 Zealand in which a person whom the registrar knows to be a medical
 practitioner is convicted of---
   (a) An offence punishable by imprisonment for a term of 3 months or
         longer; or
   (b) An offence against the Health Act 1956, the Medicines Act 1981,
         the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975, the Accident Rehabilitation and
         Compensation Insurance Act 1992, the Contraception,
         Sterilisation, and Abortion Act 1977, the Births, Deaths, and
         Marriages Registration Act 1995, or the Coroners Act 1988---
 shall send a notice of the conviction to the president.
